we had a bunch of events this weekend with all the treats, sweets, and food dyes; and DS has just been awful. He’s gotten better as we made a deal to shorten his grounding based on behavior. The baby I’m watching is also having a rough day back and has cried more often than not and when he’s not crying he’s eating things off the floor that should not be eaten. I’m ready for bed

It’s Monday and I had to go back to work. I’m tired, hungry, and nauseous. I want to call in pregnant the rest of this week please.

I have come to realize I won’t be those tip top shape pregnant moms. I’m cranky, constantly nauseous and gagging and I’m too damn tired to get a good workout. I can’t watch selling sunset anymore as I’m highly jealous of Christine Quinn 😪

Our daily driver got hit in September by an electric scooter than ran a red light. Smashed in our rear quarter panel leaving a giant dent. 

And because it has truck bed liner painted on, our typical collision shop refused to take it cuz he didn't wanna work with the paint job. 

So our friend who did the paint job finally was able to fit the car into his shop to fix. 

And today, the fucking rental gets a rock chip in the windshield. So now we gotta take it to safelight to fill. 🙈 this is the damn repair that never ends. I'm over it.

@lmn823 you do what you can, don’t compare yourself to others. It’s just about being healthy and knowing your own limits. Who knows once you start to feel better you might feel like working out some 🤷🏻‍♀️

@lmn823 it can be so hard trying to work out in the first trimester. Don't be to hard on yourself. I had so much more energy the second trimester to do stuff.

Eggs were $4.50 a dozen today at my usually-super-cheap grocery store. Is the shell overlaid with gold or something? WTF? (Meanwhile the carton of 20 egg whites was $3.19 so guess we'll just be having those this week.)

@ki1244 it's a mix of the bird flu wiping out a lot of hens this year globally and the fact that it's winter so chickens are laying less eggs. 

At those prices check local farms. I know 2 farms around us that are selling eggs at $4/doz and have been since the summer so they haven't raised their prices since last year at least.

@stashattack Oooooh good call there. We always loved buying eggs from our favorite stand at farmers markets over the summer, but it was a bit of a splurge ($4/dozen vs $1.49 at the store...). But if I'm going to spend that much on eggs anyway, it might as well be to people I like! Just reached out to them to see if their hens are still at it this winter. Thanks for the idea!

I am just super irritated and impatient, I have my ultrasound Friday and it can’t come fast enough just want to see our baby. I work as a csr in a body shop and have no patience and my coworkers probably think I am going insane as I am normally super patient and friendly and I have been pretty short with some people.

@estadt pregnancy rage is real. I often said my pervious work was lucky that the department that gave me the most grief was 7 floors below me and by the time I would get down there my rage would die down. LOL.

I am trying to be good because people are there for getting in accidents or damage to there car. But some drive me crazy
