Busty and not thriving :(

Hi mamas!

Im currently 19 weeks pregnant with my second child on the way. Im struggling with my ever growing bust line- I was already 32ddd before pregnancy. I can’t find any bras that fit properly if anyone knows of anything please let me know. Also am I the only pregnant mama who is struggling emotionally with their bust line?

Re: Busty and not thriving :(

  • Sending love! I’m struggling too… but on the other side of things. I’m a 30B (like barely an A) and my boobs never get noticeably bigger in pregnancy… which I feel like negatively affects BF success 😑 Every body is different in pregnancy. Sorry I can’t help with bra shopping suggestions! A few of my bustier friends found some good ones on Amazon I believe!

  • @coolmom97 my mom who is very busty would shop at Fredrick’s store also lane brant. There is nordstroms that will also size you, they usually have a variety of sizes. I’m about to go shopping. Things are getting tight and starting to be uncomfortable and I’m 34dd.
  • @coolmom97 I’ve been having the same issue! I’m usually a 34DDD pre pregnancy but feel like my chest is just getting bigger & bigger at this point. I’ve tried a few bra options and don’t want to have to spend too much but also need it to have more support than most other recommendations I’ve seen. The best option I’ve found so far is the Auden brand nursing bra with underwire from Target and I just went up in band size (I tried wireless too - it’s comfy but zero support). Fair warning though that it is tough to find the DDD in store so ordering may be better.
  • @coolmom97 Yup I’m in the same boat. 19 weeks and I’m typically a 36 F or G depending on the brand and they just won’t stop growing! I found a few G’s at Nordstrom that seem to have some room to grow for me. Also this is the first week where it felt like my underwire was hurting my belly (I probably also need better posture) so even though I know it’ll be hard to go back to them once I get rid of them, I think it’s time to get rid of the underwire.
