Is anyone else sore after anatomy scan?

Just curious. It was uncomfortable at times during the ultrasound, but not painful or anything crazy. 

But last night and today (ultrasound was yesterday morning) my lower abdomen is rally sore. 

I'm not really concerned because there's no pain, nothing severe, and doesn't feel internal, just like the muscles of my lower abdomen are sore at certain positions and to the touch, almost like a bruise.

Curious about your experiences and how you felt after the 20 week anatomy scan!

I haven’t had my 20w anatomy scan yet. But I did have a “light” one at 16w. I was sore at my 16w because she had to really poke and move to get baby to move out of a pocket. For me baby is really low and towards my back. Some ultrasound techs are a little rougher. I have scans every 2 weeks and my 18w scan I wasn’t sore but I also had a different tech. It will go away soon, but your not alone on this feeling. I was also told I can put little heat on the area for no longer than 10 minutes. Up to 5 times a day.

Thanks! I have had short ultrasounds pretty frequently, and but this was by far the longest duration... and ooh I felt bruised! It is a little better today though! 

And while I don't want you all to be ouchy, I'm glad to know it's nothing weird!
