Re: Monday Bitch Fest 12/12

  • Bitch at myself. I decided to make DS hard boiled eggs for breakfast because we had some eggs that needed to be cooked but now our house smells like eggs🤢
  • Loading the player...
  • @justyouraveragemama omg the worst. It's definitely a smell aversion for me right now too!!

  • I am already tired of snow and bad weather. Normally I don't start hating it till January lol.
  • @colsen4 send some here. We usually have at least one snow fall here so far but we don't have any 🙃

  • @colsen4 I’m actually fine with snow this year because we have homeschool co-op tomorrow and if the roads are bad I don’t have to go😂 we really like our co-op but with morning sickness settling in, I don’t want to deal with that there yet lol
  • I wish I could wrap it up and send it anywhere else. We had a 2hr delay yesterday and between that and being preoccupied about being pregnant my whole day was a mess. It's also my first year driving a school bus so I am still getting used to changes in my driving habits.
  • Ohhhhhh yeah if I was driving school bus I’d feel the same way!
  • I hate cold weather in all its forms at all times of year. Which leaves me a little disgruntled for a good 4-5 months of the year because we get ALLLLLLL the seasons -- it hits 110 in the summer, but we'll go stretches of 10-20 days in winter of not breaking 10 degrees. My husband is from New England originally and he loves cooler weather and hates the heat, so of course we make an excellent pair with the weather -- one of us is usually happy while the other whines.
  • I grew up in the South and never saw snow much at all. Now I live up north and we get snow most of the year. This past week we have gotten 4 feet and we are expecting another foot before Friday. The plows haven’t been able to keep up so it makes traveling hard.
  • @emeraldcity603 four FEET?!?! Sweet mother of pearl, no. I can't imagine traveling without a dogsled is even *possible*, let alone easy. Yikes.
  • @emeraldcity603 im sorry I complained. That is a ridiculous amount. I would never leave the house with that much.
  • @ki1244 it usually wouldn’t even be a big deal but our temps are hovering right at freezing so the snow is heavy and wet and not light and fluffy.

@colsen4 I wouldn’t leave my house for 7 months out of the year if I stayed home. We live in Alaska so it’s just apart of life living up here.
