So two of DH's cousin's are pregnant as well right now with their first. Due in like the spring. My MIL sends me a text of one of their US and I legit had a panic thought "Oh shit did I accidently let something slip" no... no... Just the cousin's 20 week scan. Man pregnancy brain is really dumb sometimes.
I feel you on the pregnancy brain. I swear I am so dumb right now😂 I put our brand new pack of deli ham in our bread drawer after zipping it back up for my son and so that was $10 down the drain🥴 I also forgot to pick up my mom yesterday, forgot to bring my sister her pans back, and walked out the door without putting dinner away🤦🏽♀️ and that was all only one day!
Anyone else’s pets become super obsessed with you? Our female dog has always been a velcro dog to me but our male is now under my feet or trying to sit on my lap all day! It wouldn’t be so bad if he wasn’t 90lbs!!
My daughter has elected to listen to Get Back Up Again from Trolls (which she has never seen) on repeat for the last 40 minutes. The song is two minutes and 46 seconds. It has been playing since 10:18 am central time.
If anyone sees me out and about today and I'm sort of bouncing instead of walking it's because my internal rhythm has now fused with a little pink troll and I don't know how to move like a normal adult anymore. (I don't hate it though. That was sort of my anthem when my daughter was about six weeks old and I was pulling myself out of PPD, and when it came on whatever Pandora station I had on one day I had never heard it before but that damn little troll made me sob because if she could get through a forest of monsters apparently trying to eat her family - I've never seen it either but she gives a little exposition in the first few lines so I guess that's it? - I could do this too.)
