Inducing labor

Anyone ever successfully induce labor? I’ve been so miserable my due date is the 10th and my doctor told me at my last appointment she doesn’t like to induce until a week past my due date. Honestly don’t know if I can take that. I’ve had two false labors. One last weekend and one today. Any advice is appreciated 😅

Haha. Same…due on the 9th. I pumped the last few days, but tbh it’s making me paranoid my stomach is rock solid and now it’s sore but no labor.

I'm getting induced the 7th. Very anxious to see how it's gonna go because I'm effaced 90% but not dilated at all.

I’m being induced tomorrow the 6th. I’m a little nervous but only because I can’t believe I’m about to have a major life change. I’ll do my best to come back to share my experience.

My due date is Dec 09, and ob will talk abt induce on Next Monday if baby still not coming.

With my first one 4 years ago, I was induced at 41 weeks, start at 3 Pm, baby coming at 10 pm, ☺️

I doubt my update will be helpful and I’m not trying to freak anyone out. Just thought I’d share my story. I went in on the morning of the 6th. After 23 hours we had tried a balloon and pitocin and a pill that was inserted into my vagina. Unfortunately I only ever progressed to 4 cm and baby wasn’t happy about it. He wasn’t getting enough oxygen and I wasn’t moving along fast enough so I ended up having a C-section. This was my biggest fear and I had a panic attack. BUT the good news is that it ended with a perfect happy ending. My little guy arrived safely and the surgery was not as terrifying as I imagined in my head. It was actually quite wonderful and I’m healing nicely. And best of all baby is healthy and perfect. I hope everyone has a positive experience no matter how it all turns out in the end. Just remember, keeping you and baby safe is the top priority.

I am on the same schedule—she’s due tomorrow 12/9 and if she’s a no show, I’m on the schedule for Monday evening.
