Hello - I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m 32 and have been trying to conceive for 2 years. I have history with hypothalamic amenorrhea and spent a lot of the first year just trying to figure out why I wasn’t having a period after coming off the pill. I got some help from a reproductive endocrinologist and got pregnant through one of our IUI attempts. Unfortunately, it ended in a TMFR at 14 weeks. It’s been another 9 months and 2 failed IUIs since then and I actually just had my first egg retrieval last week. I have really poor AMH for my age and wasn’t expecting a high count but we ended up with 18, 12 mature and 7 fertilized. I’m planning a fresh transfer and am feeling really excited and scared at the same time. I’m still pretty crampy and bloated from my retrieval and have this fear that it will have an impact on the success of the transfer. But I'm also so tired of waiting and I'm so hopeful this will be it for us. Thanks for reading this and thank you for the support, I’m glad I found this community :)
