Suspect Blighted Ovum?

I had my first US on Friday 11/11 & I should’ve been 7w2d based upon my LMP. All they could see was a gestational sac & according to my doctor is something that is seen in early pregnancy around 4 weeks. I’m scheduled to go back for another checkup/US next week, 11/23, but basically, at my last visit my doctor was preparing me to know that this could very well end in MC for me. My husband who is so wonderful & positive, asked the doctor if the dates could be off & she agreed but wanted to wait & see. I’m just wondering if anyone has ever heard of being 3-4 weeks off because I haven’t & what were the results? I’m suspecting a blighted ovum, but am trying to remain calm & not let my worries & anxiety get the best of me, although it’s easier said than done. I should note that my previous pregnancy tests on 10/23 & 10/26 were negative & didn’t test positive until 10/29. So could I have just ovulated later than I thought & actually only be about 4 weeks? I wasn’t tracking my ovulation very well.

I also want to note, I haven’t had any real spotting or bleeding, just lower back pain & cramping a little more intense than my usual period cramps, this could also be because my bowels have been on a rollercoaster basically since finding out about my pregnancy.

Thank you in advance for any/all replies! ❤️

Not sure if I’m following the dates well, but if you tested positive Oct 29th you absolutely had to be about 3 weeks then, minimum. I believe. I mean, week 1 is period, week 2 is ovulation, etc. Roughly.
So you could have been as early as about 5 weeks. I feel like at 5-6 weeks people definitely get confusing scans.
There’s no way to know without the painful wait til that appt. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you so much for your response, I truly appreciate it! It’s my first pregnancy so I’m not sure what’s considered normal or not. I am trying to remain calm as best I can & at least now I’m less than a week away from getting answers ❤️
