How are you feeling?: Great! I feel like it took me one extra week to get out of my first trimester symptoms. I finally had enough energy to catch up on chores yesterday.
Rants/Raves:
Rave: DH put up backsplash tile in our kitchen this weekend and it looks great!
Rant: It wasn't until he finished the tiling that I noticed there is a huge gap between the fridge and the wall, so depending on where you stand, it looks like the tile just stops abruptly. DH had already planned to paint behind the fridge, so I asked him to tile behind the fridge and he got all huffy

GTKY: What was your most awkward dating experience? Mine was from my very first date when I was asked if I wanted a kids menu...I was 18 and my date was 24. He thought it was a lot funnier than I did.

How are you feeling?: good! Physically I feel great. No more tired than usual with 3 kids under 6. Not nauseous. Pretty bloated, but not in a painful way. No complaints!
Rants/Raves: my grandmother is coming in town for Thanksgiving and I can't wait. We aren't particularly close, but she's the grandparent I'm closest to out of them all. I love when she comes to visit and I can't wait to hang out with her.
Questions: am I the only one still eating my kids' Halloween candy? They forgot about it and my husband forced me (really twisted my arm ...) to bring it to my office. I think his intention was for me to distribute it to students? BUT NAH.
GTKY: What was your most awkward dating experience? Oh man, I don't really have many awkward dating experiences! I guess one from high school. This super sweet boy had taken me out to dinner and then he drove me home. We sat in his truck and talked (literally talked!) super late, but I figured we were in the driveway so I was *technically* home before my curfew. My mother did not see it that way and came stomping out of the house in her jammies, robe and huge glasses and yelled at us. Pointed at me and yelled "YOU. INSIDE." then pointed to him and said "YOU. GO HOME." Bless his little heart, I'm sure he was terrified.

How are you feeling?: My BP was high on Friday's appointment and I've been crampy on and off. Some stress going on right now see below. So trying to take it easy with deep breaths.
Rants/Raves: My grandfather passed away last Monday. He was just diagnosed with aggressive liver cancer less than a month ago so the prognosis wasn't very good. This is on my dad's side and my dad passed away in July, so it's been a very heavy few months, hence the comment above and also being MIA last week. I have it on my to-do list to get an appointment scheduled with my therapist, I haven't been to one in a month or so.On the rave side, we had a really good weekend and with me being off for some time last week I got extra time with the boys which was needed.

GTKY: What was your most awkward dating experience? I had a from hell tinder date before meeting DH. He tried to order for me, which I know some are fine with, but I wasn't. Then he tried to introduce me to his mom on the first date. After he was very aggressive in texting, I told him I wasn't interested and stopped talking to him. He proceeded to text me and then added me to a daily bible quote text chain, again fine for others not what I was looking for. After meeting DH and being with him for several months he reached out on social media after I had blocked him asking me to be his date for a military ball. Finally, after I had blocked him everywhere and a few months after that, he reached out to my sister saying "I dated Sam but you are cute too, do you want to hang out."

How are you feeling?: always hungry! Other than that, good. Craving cold canned pineapple lol
Rants/Raves: everyone’s finally back to school/work today, after a week of flu in my house

GTKY: What was your most awkward dating experience? I’ve actually only ever dated my husband, since I was 15 and he was 17.

How are you feeling?: I feel better this week but nausea is still present. Go away!
Rants/Raves: I am ready for second tri comfort and for first tri symptoms to be banished.
Questions: When can I put out my christmas/holiday decor without being judged?
GTKY: What was your most awkward dating experience? I wish I had a good one...but honestly I dont. It would probably that one time my DH told me he loved me and I said thank you. He will never let me live that down.

How are you feeling?: better, I’m not nauseated *all the time*. Feel like I’m actually vomiting more because when I feel
better I’m not as careful about my eating and activity and get to the point of no return more often though. 😅 Last time the nausea didn’t go away until 20 weeks so I’ve been prepared for it to stick around.
Rants/Raves: Saw family for the first time in three years! Got to see my nephew in a high school play! My in laws gave us a bunch of tangerines off their trees and they are delicious! My three year old was doted on by everyone because there’s a bit of gap in kids in the family at the moment.

GTKY: What was your most awkward dating experience? In junior high (12 y/o) I went to summer camp to take a math class because I was an enormous nerd. I got a boyfriend at this camp. He got kicked out early for trying to beat someone else up??!? I got to say goodbye to him before he left and he kissed me on the neck, and having never been kissed before, I was like, REALLY? My first kiss is on the neck instead of the mouth?? 😂 Then I never contacted him again because I correctly deduced that dating the guy who started a fight at math camp was not a good idea. 🤣
@gingermama46 Oh it’s so hard to have two big losses so close together.

How are you feeling?: Pretty good. Had a burst of energy today so I decided to clean out the fridge. Halfway through I realized it was a horrible idea because I could smell EVERYTHING 🤦♀️ I finished though!

Questions: Are you all planning to by a maternity coat for the winter? I'm in Colorado so I'll need one but hoping I can get away with one of my bigger coats for as long as possible?? What do other mamas out there do?
GTKY: What was your most awkward dating experience? I wouldn't say dating experience but in high school there was this kind of creepy guy with a crush on me who showed up at my house to say hi (we had been texting and I said I was home). I texted my friend complaining that he showed up and turns out I had texted him! Oh well, hopefully it got the message across faster!
