Earlier then expected

Has anyone got a ultrasound and the doctor said it looks like your earlier then we though ? I’m just worried because I’ve miscarried my first pregnancy and I’m super paranoid about this one . I just want everything to go normally.

@knottie, this would be a good question for the PGAL or weekly random thread. We try to avoid one-off posts like this here to keep the board clean.  However, I will say, in my experience the only way to tell for sure is with a follow up ultrasound in a week or two.  Good luck and I hope everything turns out well for you!

Yes I have when I was 6 weeks &’ 2 days .. my ultrasound measured at 5 weeks &’ 5 days but I went again thinking I was 6 weeks and 5 days and measured 7 weeks and 3 days .. I wouldn’t worry too much because as time goes on you might end up measuring slightly different but shouldn’t be off by many days

This also happened to me :) I thought I was 8.5 weeks and come to find out was only 5.5 weeks! The doctor asked how regularly I have my cycle and I told her it it’s 35-37 days which indicates I ovulate later :) maybe this is the same for you! My next appointment is this week and I’ll be 12 weeks now. Wish me luck and good luck to you!
