H and my dating anniversary is in two days. We don't really do anything to celebrate anniversaries or birthdays but I'd like to cook a different and nice dinner for us at least. No meat, eggs, dairy, or fish allowed so my mind is kind of spacing. Shellfish are OK. Any body have any good recipe recs?

@nopegoat happy anniversary!! I am not a shellfish eater so I’m no help. 

My 4yo was up at 4am this morning, then none of us (her, me, MH) could get back to sleep. I am dying I am so tired. Of course MH and I stayed up late last night watching love is blind - I’ve never regretted watching trashy tv more than I have today.

Oof. That's rough. Hopefully you can get in a quick nap or at the very least have an easy and semi early bedtime tonight.

@nopegoat I don't know if soup is nice enough for an anniversary dinner (I live in a cold climate, so soup is always welcome here, but I know you're in TX...), but I made this once and liked it a lot.

@nopegoat I have a tempeh recipe that is a peanut butter/ soy sauce, sriracha marinade that we serve with coconut rice + roasted broccoli. If that sounds appealing I’ll drop the recipe!

@nopegoat before baby decided that his favorite food was cheeseburgers, we were being really good about cutting out red meat. I subbed impossible meat for pretty much any protein for a while so we could still have our favorites but without the beef. I can’t really tell the difference with impossible meat (beyond meat is horrible to me though). Beef stroganoff and tacos are some of the favs at home that we just can’t quit so we just sub. 

Also we make stir fry a lot which is one of the favorites in our house - I love Asian food when I’m avoiding dairy plus it’s so flexible for protein.

Turns out I don't need recipes after all. H ended up having to leave for a job out of state early this morning for few days so he's missing out anniversary today. We ended up staying up till after midnight snuggling, chatting, and reminiscing. It was actually super nice!! 18yrs together today! ❤️

I seriously need a weed Wacker....or something to tame this mess that is my bikini area. 🙈🙈🙈 I've been neglecting it but I seriously prefer it trimmed up. I just don't have the energy to shave and not cut the shit out of myself (on accident, it just inevitably happens).

@firecracker_mama It’s funny you mention that. I shaved the other day and realized that I will have to stop soon because it’s becoming very difficult with this belly. I can’t see anything, and I have to really reach to get the bottom. 😂

@firecracker_mama I gave up shaving a long time ago. Electric trimmer with guards is so much safer 😅

@firecracker_mama same as @nopegoat my husband has crazy thick a** hair so he goes through tons of beard trimmers. I always keep a reject for myself. I get really bad ingrown hairs so shaving has always been something I avoid but mens facial trimmers are so much better than the crap ones they market toward women.

Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been MIA work has been crazy! But the twins and I are doing amazing! Twins are growing right along and are healthy as they can be! 18 weeks today! Just two more weeks and hopefully find out what they are! I am showing quite a bit it’s like I ballooned out over night. Officially had to buy bigger scrub tops for the time being.

Re Trimmers: Best thing for my bikini area since 2015. I used to shave/Nair in college and the bumps and ingrowns were the worst. When I got married, DH introduced me to trimmers and I've never looked back. Sometimes I shave my inner thighs during the summer and bear the ingrowns there, but not this year.
