Problems when buying children clothes

Hi Mummies and Daddies, I am doing an informal survey on what kinds of problems you face when buying baby clothes for your infants and toddlers. For example, maybe the buttons on your child's clothes fell out or the fabric of the label is too rough and chafes the child's skin. Please let me know in the comments below, thanks alot !

Re: Problems when buying children clothes

  • I’ve been able to find good brands for my son (almost 6mo). My primary concerns when shopping are fabric softness, ease of movement for my son, and warmth/breathability depending on what he needs.

My main complaint about boys clothes is limited designs. I don’t particularly like cars or dinosaurs, just from an aesthetic perspective, so my son lives in ocean-themed clothes. That’s basically your “cute” options for boys. Cars/trucks/construction, dinosaurs, or sea creatures. I’d like to see more natural designs that aren’t floral, or at least aren’t feminine. And more muted, natural colored outfits that complement each other rather than bright primary colors.

I can find individual pieces online in colors and prints that I like, but finding outfits (especially pants) is difficult.
  • My primary problem has been the sizing of clothes. It's all over the map, so you never know what will fit or not if ordering something online. Also, not about baby clothes, but I've been very annoyed when trying to buy maternity/nursing clothes in-store. The only store near me that has anything is Target, which is great, but has very limited options.

Hi there! As a parent of a toddler, I have faced the problem of finding quality fabrics for my child's clothing. Organic baby clothes are my go-to option as they are made from natural fibers and are toxin-free. They are also gentle on the child's skin and last longer as compared to other fabrics. I have also found that organic baby clothes are affordable and have a wide range of options, making it easier to find what I am looking for. Here is where i found it: https://www.minimioche.com/
