Baby won’t nurse or eat in public

My 4 mo old won’t eat anywhere but home. Even a bottle although it’s rare he ever accepts that. He won’t eat in the car, uncovered, with a cover, ANYTHING. We go to church far away and are literally gone about 12 hours and I’m lucky to get him to eat twice.
It’s so stressful and lonely. I feel like I can’t go anywhere or leave him with my in laws during date night even because he might not eat.
Any suggestions?! Will it pass? Should I practice?!
