Mass inside gestational sac

I just had my 5 week 5 day ultrasound yesterday. The intent was to rule out ectopic pregnancy as is the case with all IVF pregnancies. During the ultrasound, the technician found a mass INSIDE the gestational sac. It was free floating, not close to the yolk sac. The technician and my RE are both stumped. They said they have never seen anything like this before. Asked me to come back next week for another scan. The mass appeared white on the scan so they ruled out a hematoma. Has anyone experienced this? What was the outcome? I’m really worried that they have no idea what it is or how it may impact the pregnancy. Any information will be very helpful.
