2 vessel in 3 vessel umbilical cord

I just found out at 22 weeks that my baby’s umbilical cord has only 2 Vessels when it is supposed to have three. My doctor said many babies have been born with just two. But I obviously have some worry about this. Has anyone experienced this before know anyone that has?

My best friend's first baby had a 2 vessel cord, and had no complications! Perfect healthy baby delivered via C-section, at 39 weeks.

I did- we went to MFM for further testing - it did result in finding a heart issue- but it was a blessing because we could make a plan- she is a healthy normal 5 year old now. Had 3 friends that had it and everything was normal for them. A hard mantra but- don’t worry until something is confirmed.
