bump on newborns head

has anyone ever experienced this? it’s a knot on the back of my sons head.  if so what was the outcome? he’s 3 weeks old, his doctor said that isn’t from birth because it wouldn’t still be there, and it didn’t show up until he was a week old, we’ve had x-rays and ultrasounds now just waiting on results i was just curious if anyones ever experienced this and what did it turn out to be?

my daughter has the same thing!!! we asked about it at her two week check up and the pediatrician said they didn’t know and to just keep and eye on it. she’s almost a month old now and it’s almost gone- it’s been going down on its own over time. we think it’s just the way her skull is forming and we’re not worried about it anymore!
