Re: TTGP Grad Check in October 2022
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? June 2022 - August 2022
*How far along are you? 9W4D
*Which birth month board/due date? May 2023 (due May 5)
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Finding out, probably around Christmas
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We have our top choices, but we're probably not going to think about it much further until we find out the sex.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? We had our first appointment and ultrasound last week! So wonderful to see our little tadpole. DH is currently "nesting" by refinishing the kitchen cabinets. When I was in first tri with our daughter, he painted the entire inside of our house. We joke that I should have babies more often because it makes him get stuff done
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? July 2021-February 2022
*How far along are you? 36 weeks 3 days!
*Which birth month board/due date? October, 10/29
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Green
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We've got one for each but not sharing until after birth.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I'm up to weekly OB visits now! I had an ultrasound this morning and baby looks great, still breech which I was expecting but we had a c-section planned anyway since I've already had 2 c-sections. My c-section is currently planned for 10/28 but I wouldn't be upset if this baby decided to come a bit sooner! I'm so excited to meet this little one and I've finally calmed my PGAL brain enough to start actually getting stuff ready. I'm still rooting for all of you!!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Not touching that with a 10-foot pole until we're farther along (and maybe know the sex).
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? The first appointment with my RE at 6w3d went well! Measured a couple days ahead and saw the flicker of a heartbeat. I go back this Monday for another check before potentially being released to the midwife. I thought about waiting to check in until then, but that felt like the pessimistic choice so I'm choosing to celebrate with you all today. I'm not sure PGAL brain will ever turn off, but the appointment this coming Monday feels like a big milestone. Send up a prayer or good thought for me on that day if you do that sort of thing.
Edited for weird spacing.

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Boy 💙
*How are you doing picking out a name?*Questions, concerns or other? I can’t believe this is my last check in and that he’s here. I’m 39 and feel like our family is complete so I don’t think we will ever “try” to get pregnant again (even if we don’t prevent) so it’s also crazy to think I’ll never be a member of TTGP again. It’s a special place, but I hope you all move on to getting your THBs soon. I won’t ever stop lurking until I don’t recognize any names❤️
Oct '21 somewhat improved AMH (.51) and significantly improved FSH (8.9). Maybe it's all the pills I swallow.
Dec -21, standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 5; 11 days of stims. retrieval yields 5, 4M, 2 reach day-6 blast (4AB & 4BB). 1 low-level mosaic (chr. 3 deletion), 1 complex abnormal.
Feb '22 FET (low-level mosaic): CP.
May '22 egg retrieval, lupron flare protocol. HGH priming for 1 month before stims; md lupron 20/20u daily; menopur 225, follistim 225, 10k trigger after 8 days of stims; AFC 10; 13 retrieved; 10 mature; 8 fertilized. All frozen at 2PN for later thaw, grow, and biopsy.
July '22 egg retrieval same protocol: 9 days of stims; AFC 8; 10 retrieved, 8 mature, 4 fertilized and frozen.
Sept '22 ER same protocol: AFC 10; 12 retrieved, 11 mature, 11 fertilized.
From the 3 retrievals, 7 survived to day 5-6 blastocyst, from which I have 2 normal embryos!
Jan 20, Fully medicated FET, baby aspirin, dexamethasone, acupuncture, and as much woo as I can stand (which isn't very much). BFN.
July 23, Natural FET + baby aspirin. BFN.
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? April-Aug 2022
*How far along are you? 13w4d
*Which birth month board/due date? April 10
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? We will find out next month
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Waiting until we know the sex of the baby go talk more about it girl names will be easier than boys
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? We saw our baby for the first time in 6 weeks today. It looks more like a baby than a blob now and it was relieving to see that there’s still a baby in there after so long. It was squirming around a lot which is so different than my son
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? Sep '21 - May '22
*How far along are you? 21w2d
*Which birth month board/due date? February, 2/16ish
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Blue
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. I think we're getting closer on a name. We made a list of about 25 options we would consider and have it whittled down to about five that are our favorites. I think we're both leaning towards our original name choice, but we'll see.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I'm feeling a lot more movement now which is very exciting. My partner hasn't felt it yet but I'm hoping he does soon. The consultant is going to keep an eye on me b/c of blood flow to the placenta (all fine, just 20% chance of preeclampsia or growth restriction) which means I'll be getting ultrasounds every four weeks until baby is born. Considering I only had two for my older kids it seems bonkers that I'll be having six for this baby but I'm happy they are keeping an eye on me and I get to see him more often. I'm still lurking as always (so excited for your embryos Optimist!!!!!) and hoping that you all graduate the board soon
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? 2yrs 2 months (Jun '20 - Jul '22)
*How far along are you? 15+3 (according to 10-week transvaginal u/s) but the baby is measuring BIG; see below.
*Which birth month board/due date? April 2023 / April 1, 2023!
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? "Fake" Green (i.e. we know, but we're not saying! I am open to bribes though.)
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. It's HARD! *TW Loss* with our March pregnancy, we had a name picked out at like 4 or 5 weeks... just stumbled on something that felt instantly right. This time, it's a struggle and reusing the name we'd previously chosen doesn't feel right for multiple reasons... mostly importantly, it doesn't "fit". Anyways, we have like 20 names in a shared Notes doc, and I certainly have my favorite, but need to work on H to get him to love it as well. And well... I'm going to get my way. Hehe.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Oh man, so many feels. First of all, I can't believe it I've made it this far. I still half-expect to see blood every time I go to the bathroom / wipe, so PGAL brain is alive and well. But, I keep reminding myself that everything looks good, I have a doppler at home that I can use to find the HB, and all of our appointment thus far have been positive. I've been struggling to find good prenatal care though... I had a PAP scheduled with a random OB back in July, and when it rolled around, I was already 4w3d so I just kept my appointment with him but I never really "liked" him, and last visit, his office staff really pissed me off. I was fully expecting to go with a midwife, and just have a random hospitalist deliver the baby with midwife acting as the doula in the hospital (for some reason, midwifes can't deliver in hospitals here.) But, I did manage to get an appointment with an OB back at the end of August, and that appointment was today and I actually LOVE this doc. I totally didn't expect it, but she's pretty young (been practicing for just over 1.5 years), and I had written her a 7-page letter about our conception history and SHE ACTUALLY READ IT! She also totally acknowledged my hypercoagulability issues – which the other doc was very dismissive about – and wants to keep me on Lovenox throughout my pregnancy and 6 weeks PP. Also, today baby measured 19w by head circumference, and 16w by torso length so hopefully that means a SMART and TALL baby.
Also, most exciting thing recently is that I kept the pregnancy a secret from my sister (we are VERY close) and she found out at the airport when she arrived for a visit this past Saturday and her reaction was PRICELESS (caught on video). Also, my FIL received his bday card with his "gift" (a sourced-from-Etsy-super-cute-announcement-card) today, and he's delighted!
Okay, one final thing... I promise... YOU GUYS... I decided to write a book about the infertility thing! I have no idea what will actually become of this but I've hired a friend who's an executive coach to help me / keep me on track, and I'm starting a 13 week memoir writing course tonight! Stay tuned!
