Anything super salty. GIVE ME ALL THE SALT. Particularly ramen, hamburgers, pickles. Which is weird because normally my cravings are fruit/sweets. And also weird because none of these things are normally in my diet.
@maelove omg yessss!! All I want is salty, fatty, crunchy things. I usually don’t eat a lot of this stuff (I’m a sugar and pastry kind of gal!), so it’s wild.
Pizza, French fries.... Anything unhealthy that I don't have to cook!! Anyone else getting nauseous when cooking and can barely eat a few bites of what you cook? We can't afford to eat out every meal 🤪
With this baby i live off eggos waffles and syrup with a cup of milk, everything bagels with Strawberry cream cheese, pb and js, and cheerios honey bunches cereal lol
I have the appetite of ten men! I am starving almost every two hours and my cravings jump from salty to sweet, healthy to gluttony. I just go with it!
Yesterday I had a hankering for cornbread dressing… so I bought everything after work and got started this morning. My kids were like, “mom made thanksgiving dinner!” 🤣🤣🤣
@almost40npreg That looks so good! I can't wait to be in second trimester during Thanksgiving. I keep joking with DD that we may need to order a second turkey for myself.
Last night at my parents' house I kept eating sour gummy candy out of their Halloween stash. No idea why my stomach liked THAT of all things...
Yes omg @sram331 I literally cannot bring myself to cook, making me so ill.
I will say though something I have found to help with the nauseous feeling when I wake up is to eat some protein right away and fill your tummy a bit to start the day…. Even tho it’s so hard to stomach, it really does help me.
I have pretty consistent nausea and aversions to a bunch of foods (can’t do any meats or anything with strong smells or cooked in oils), so I’m surviving on pretty basic foods. But I’m loving bean and cheese burritos, bagels, hummus and pita, smoothies, pickles, mandarins, and grapes. Also enjoying anything with peanut butter and now I always have a sweet tooth. I have never been a picky eater, so it is so weird to not want to eat a bunch of foods!
I am eating GinGins and those orange colored peanut butter snack crackers daily. Really struggling with wanting to cook or meal prep. Gummy bats sound appetizing though.... 😆
Well, this weekend was not gummy worms, but a whole lot of Hi-Chew. I NEVER eat fruity candy and it's the one thing I can't stop eating. I might be taking a heavy parent tax from DD's Halloween stash this year
The only consistent aversion I've had so far is bacon, but that has officially been broken. I can't get enough of the Starbucks bacon gruyere egg bites
Side note, while typing this I first spelled bacon "baken." I need a nap.
This week it’s salmon and berries. Oh yeah and salty pretzels. My aversion seems to be chicken. It’s making me repulse just to think about it. I’ll admit that I take a big lunchbox to work with me with a variety of food since it’s been changing what I can keep down and what I don’t want anymore. It’s like in the morning I really wanted applesauce but by lunch my stomach says no, I want hard boiled eggs! I’m also eating all day in my cubicle. I haven’t told anyone I’m expecting so schedule time in the conference rooms to snack and it seems to keep my nausea at bay.
I'm usually a vegetarian, but this baby is making me crave chicken. Any kind of chicken. I also had my first hamburger in 4 years, I literally almost cried. So meat is a big craving for me, but also cornflakes.
I bought pre sliced green apples at the store and I have been living for apples and Colby Jack cheese cubes dipped in peanut butter after school every day this week so far.
First half of October was pretty limited to fruit and all things beige. Now I am starving every 2 hours and getting up in the middle of the night to eat. I’ll eat most anything as long as it can get in my mouth fast!
Also starving all the time. And THANK GOD it's Halloween because you better believe I've already eaten one of the bags I bought for trick or treaters. Sorry, kids.
Not a big potato chip person, but the cheddar and sour cream ruffle chips. We haven't gotten chips in years and I totally forgot how much air is in a bag, it was like a quarter of the way full!
Re: What My Pregnant Self is Eating in October

You can't be pregnant and from the south unless you're craving boiled peanuts!
My protien for the morning 😂
P.S. this is my favorite thread of all time on the bump!
Sunday was gummy bats, and today is gummy bears. I'm guessing this weekend will be gummy worms.
