IUD and Pregnant

Hi all! Just found out I am pregnant after being four days late and taking a test. I have the Paragard IUD, so I was quite shocked. Has anyone else gone through something like this?

This did happen to one of my good friends with Paragard several years ago. Her doctor was able to remove the IUD and she went on to have a healthy pregnancy.

Of course, the pregnancy itself is still pretty rare for IUD users, despite the anecdotes.
