Umbilical Vein Varix (UVV)??

I had a 32wks + 6 days ultrasound today (for a growth scan due to catching COVID in July) and I was told that my baby is measuring perfectly and everything is looking good. The only exception is that now I have this condition called umbilical vein varix (UVV) which is essentially varicose vein in umbilical cord.
I was told this condition is rare but there's an increased chance of clot and issue with blood supply. They will monitor me and do ultrasounds every week.
This seems to be a rare condition so studies online provide little guidance. Most seem like in absence of any other abnormalities there's a good survival rate. Has any one else had a similar experience and are willing to share their stories?
