We met almost 10 years ago (next week!) while I was in college in Glasgow, Scotland. His band was touring from the US and my friend knew them, so we went. I hit it off with him but nothing more happened than a handshake lol. Afterwards he found me on FB and we talked daily until I decided to book a ticket months later, the rest is history!

He’s a delivery driver manager at a local pizza chain by day, freelance movie maker by night. The latter makes zero money but it’s basically a second job.

Personality-wise I hope LO gets his grounded-ness, humility and open mind. He has the ability to change his mind based on new information which I value a lot. He keeps me grounded as I tend to be more stubborn. In the looks-department: his hair, skin and nose. Our son was lucky to get all of those, hopefully the next kid will be too. I have fair skin that burns to a crisp, flat, boring hair and a nose that is… statuesque (not in a good way). His hair is thick and wavy, skin that tans and he has a cute button nose.

We met 17 years ago at the grocery store we worked at in high school when we were 15! We didn’t start dating until after we graduated because we went to different high schools. But we re-met at a party and started talking and never stopped we’ll be married 12 years in December! 

He’s a shipping and receiving manager for a company that makes.supplies parts for John Deere. 

I hope this baby gets his level headedness and hard work ethic. I hope this baby does not get his dark physical features because the other 3 did and I’d really love to have one green eyed baby like me.

How did you and your SO meet? We met at a summer house when he was visiting his sister (he lived out of state at the time, and his sister and I were very close friends). We didn't get together until over a year later when he moved back to NJ and I was taking the summer off between jobs & living full time at the beach. We ended up being the only people around a lot during the middle of the week, so we were spending a lot of time together, and it just grew from there Married 8+ years, together 10. 
-What does your SO do for a living? He works in staffing for the creative/digital space, he owns the relationship with large organizations where recruiters that work under him place continent workers. 
-What do you wish this LO gets from your SO (either physically or personality wise)? I hope baby #3 gets his blonde hair (#2 has it) #1 has golden/strawberry blonde hair. We both have blue eyes, so all our babes get those!

We met in college (at a bar) celebrating a mutual friend's 21st birthday. I was only 20 at the time and using a fake ID 😆 His best friend was dating my friend's (the birthday girl) roommate. All of my girl friends told me not to date him but of course that made me more interested in him 😉 We had a lot of mutual friends and had been to a lot of the same parties so it's surprising we had never met before. We started dating in 2010 and married in 2015, our 7 year wedding anniversary is next month.

He recently left the nuclear engineering field (he's been doing that since we graduated college) and now works in cyber security. He also takes care of our farm!

I hope this baby gets his blue eyes (like our May 21 baby did) but my olive/Mediterranean skin. I also hope all of our children get his brains, curiosity about the world and how things work, drive and ambition. I hope they do NOT get his impulsivity (that's how we ended up with our first 2 farm animals before we even closed on our property lol)

How did you and your SO meet?
We met at work in a cubicle farm. He was seated across the aisle from me. We became really great friends and after a couple years and the end of our respective relationships, we got together. One of those things where it was obvious to our friends long before it was to us. Or to me, at least. Lol

-What does your SO do for a living? He's a federal law enforcement agent in training. This job is Foreign Service so in few years we'll be living overseas, changing countries/assignments every 2-3 years.

-What do you wish this LO gets from your SO (either physically or personality wise)? I hope it gets his brain biology. Anxiety & depression are passed down my family, and sometimes I'm so in awe of how he functions without either. He thinks of things and then just DOES them. 🤯

My husband and I met because he was my annoying upstairs neighbor. I made several noise complaints about him. Then one night when I had had plenty to drink another neighbor we were mutual friends with introduced us and the rest is history. 

He actually works for a genetic testing company. It’s not the company our doctor/insurance provider use though. 

I hope this baby gets his perfect eyebrows and musical talent/passion. I hope also that they get his ability to be outgoing as I’m definitely a shy introvert.

How did you and your SO meet? We actually met in 2009 when a mutual friend who had moved away, came back to town, and got a bunch of his friends together for a catch up dinner. We were both at that dinner. We were definitely sexually attracted to one another from the get go and started having a fling. However, I was just out of a relationship in which I had been a rebound, and he was about to finish his college degree and GTFO of the city I had just moved to for work. So, after our fling ended, we stayed friends and caught up every now and again whenever we ended up being in the same city (mostly we looked for opportunities to hook up but it never happened). Given how peacefully things had ended / how were were able to maintain a friendship, I had always wondered if he were the one who got away. Then, in 2017, I went through a traumatic breakup. I was scheduled to go to San Francisco to visit my best friend who'd moved there 1 year before and help her pick her wedding dress. I was gonna be there for 4 days, so I started thinking of all the people I knew who'd moved to SF who I could catch up with while there (I'm a master networker). I reached out to my now H, with the hope that he was single and DTF, and was surprised to learn that he's recently returned to Canada (to the city where I was still living). We ended up being at a mutual friend's wedding a few weeks later, and I told him my break up sob story and he was like "since you're going to SF, why don't you see if you want work remotely and just go and stay in the apartment I still have a lease on for a few extra weeks. No payment required." So I did! He helped me do a bunch of errands before I took off for SF for 6 weeks, and before I left, he said: "when you get back, we should try dating." The rest is history. We got engaged in Oct 2019, legally married in Jan 2020, and had the most beautiful immediate-family only wedding in Feb 2020. 

What does your SO do for a living? He's a Chief Technical Officer / Head Nacho Software Developer for a small tech company in the telecom space. 

What do you wish this LO gets from your SO (either physically or personality wise)? His bottomless kindness (he will give you the shirt off his back and ask for nothing in return) and his thick wavy hair. He also definitely has better structural features (nose / facial profile), so baby can have all those from him. I do hope the baby gets my project management / get shit done attitude. H is the worst when it comes to this stuff. Also, I hope baby gets my ability to learn new languages.

How did you and your SO meet?
We met on Coffee Meets Bagel. He was the only guy I matched with on the app that I ended up meeting in person. He had to cancel our original plans to meet up because his sister got a flat tire and I thought he was trying to blow me off. Very glad that we rescheduled and I didn't just ghost haha. 

-What does your SO do for a living? 
He is a software developer for one of the major universities in our area. 

-What do you wish this LO gets from your SO (either physically or personality wise)? I hope this LO gets his incredibly large heart, thoughtfulness, and ability to empathize with people. As far as physical features are concerned, he used to have wavy hair (he keeps it short now), and I hope that gets passed down. I hope the rest is just a cute mix of all of our features.

How did you and your SO meet?
We met my senior year of High School. He had graduated two years before me from a different school and I shared a class with his youngest sister. She and I became friends and I met him through hanging out with her. We've been together almost 16 years. Married for 10! 

-What does your SO do for a living?  He is a Journeyman Electrician. 

-What do you wish this LO gets from your SO (either physically or personality wise)? I hope his LO gets his quirky sense of humor and his huge heart.

How did you and your SO meet?
My hubby and I grew up together, I've literally known him my whole life. Our dads used to play music together and we all used to go to church together. There was a good stretch stretch of time in our teens where we didn't hang out much and then after he got his driver's license he and my older brother (they're they're same age) started hanging out again. So for a few years we just hung out and then when I graduated high school he asked me out and the rest is history. Weve been together for 9 years, married for 6.5. My dad always jokes that it's the closest thing to an arranged marriage you'll find in the US lol

-What does your SO do for a living? 
He is a chemical operator, blends chemicals used in water treatment and hvac  systems

-What do you wish this LO gets from your SO (either physically or personality wise)?
His looks of course but definitely his sense of humor and his kindness

Playing co-ed soccer; he was the goalie and I was the sweeper.

Tech support for surgical robots

I hope LO gets my eyes (blue) and his hair (dark brown and wavy). No opinion personality-wise since we're both crazy in our own way.

How did you and your SO meet?
December 2009, I ordered him on the internet, lol. We went on 3 marathon length dates, our first meeting went brunch - dinner, and then essentially moved in together. 

-What does your SO do for a living?
Something with computers. He's a programmer/supervisor whose title seems to change every 10 minutes. He works in foreign exchange trading, on the programming development and server maintenance side, so the hours are constant. 

-What do you wish this LO gets from your SO (either physically or personality wise)?
His metabolism and energy level. It's like the energizer bunny over here.
