Re: Group 4 Check In w/o 9/12

  • FTM/STM/TTM+: first

    EDD / Weeks + Days: 7w6d

Baby is the size of a: keyboard key??

    Team blue/pink/green: healthy

Upcoming Appointments: 9/21 last appointment with fertility clinic, 9/28, first appointment with OB

How are you feeling?: anxious….I had breast tenderness for many weeks but today it seems to have started to taper off. I am feeling a bit more tired but I haven’t been sleeping well. Other than that I have no other symptoms, is this normal? Anyone experiencing something similar?

    Rants/Raves: none

Questions: just the one above, anyone experiencing a tapering off of symptoms? Trying not to get worried.

GTKY: What is your favorite childhood memory? I can’t pinpoint just one but probably playing with my best friend who was also my next door neighbor in our backyards
  • Symptoms can definitely come and go. I notice it mostly with breast tenderness and it’s pretty dependent on the bra I’m wearing too. I had really bad nausea a few weeks back which randomly disappeared for a few days and returned with a vengeance. With my first pregnancy I had hardly any nausea at all.

    EDD / Weeks + Days:  7+3
Baby is the size of a:  Blueberry
    Team blue/pink/green: No preference.
Upcoming Appointments: Ultrasound on Friday, 9/16
How are you feeling?: pretty good so far. Tired, slight nausea, have not been sick yet. Began spotting late last week and after 2 MCs, to see any blood worries me, even though I can tell this is indeed spotting. It's very light and pink and it's not constant nor heavy.
Rants/Raves: can't say I really have much to say here.
Questions: how long should we wait to tell family? I know a lot of people wait until 2nd Trimester but, Dang It! This is hard to keep quiet! The news is absolutely going to shock everyone and I'm just so excited to see our parents reactions! ❤️
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood memory? Oh man, this is tough to answer. Not sure I can pick a certain memory.

  • Ditto. My symptoms have come and gone. Some days I feel nothing some days I feel everything. I began to worry but my husband is great at gettung my mind off of it. Dont rent worry dear. Look forward to your appointments and try to stay calm.
  • @millieuhly I told my family and best friends right away. I had an mc in 2012, so it's been awhile, but I'm still so stressed. I didn't want to wait because I felt like I needed their support either way. I think it's odd to have a rule about it, I say do what you need to do! There are certainly some situations where it's too much pressure and stress after telling ppl. I also told my bosses and one colleague also because I had to take so many nausea breaks at one point; it's also put my mind at ease knowing they don't think I'm slacking if I randomly go offline or work odd hours.
  • @millieuhly you definitely don't need to wait til the 2nd trimester if you don't want to! I told my immediate family early both pregnancies. You have an ultrasound in just a couple of days, you could always tell your families after that (if you are comfortable!) and be able to show them the ultrasound pics ❤
