Upper Respiratory Infection - week 7/8

So about 3 weeks ago my son started K3 and of course brought all the germs home. I ended up with an upper respiratory infection which is now also bothering my ears. Doctors gave me antibiotics and I've only been able to take Tylenol and antihistamines. I'm absolutely miserable. Anyone else dealt with first trimester illnesses and can give me some words of advice/encouragement?
