Baby shower question: am I not supposed to know ahead of time who got me what from my registry? Babylist sends me a notification every time a gift is purchased but hides the person’s name. My husband already looked but I’m not sure if it’s custom to have it be a surprise?

@r_kenn99 I also would like to know. Big kid before Christmas energy every time I get a notification 😅 I can see that it shows the name without showing the gifts unless I click the drop down, which is helpful. I know some are sending gifts to our home

@r_kenn99 @cc_clark I think it’s pretty standard! So you can prepare for what you’ll still have to buy on your own type thing and the surprise is who got what not necessarily what you got lol

@r_kenn99 I tried not to look at who bought what, but still at what was still left on the registry. (Amazon at least made that pretty easy) The feature of who bought what came in handy for thank you notes when the list from the shower wasn't super detailed.

I thought we had the name thing all figured out and that it would be Sophia if she had dark hair like me and Emilia if she had light hair like my husband but my husband now no longer likes Emilie because the nick name “Emi” is too close to our dog “Remi” lmao and everyone in our family seems to hate Sophia so I am feeling low key stressed because it’s another thing to figure out/do again now lol
