    Since I started feeling queasy, my son’s iPad has been on constantly while he’s awake. Sometimes the tv is on at the same time as his iPad. He’s not glued to the screen constantly but like, we have a yard and the weather is nice. I feel bad for him, especially since summer is almost over, but he’s content and I know it’s temporary. I just don’t have the energy to be a fun and educational mom.

    don’t worry about it. It’s a temporary situation. I have been doing the same. My nausea is on and off and I have been extremely fatigued that I have needed to nap in the middle of the day so the tv and or iPad had been a lifesaver.

    Thanks @daniellejack89, glad I’m not the only one! And school starts back again in a couple weeks so he’ll get more variation and activities then. 

    Seriously though, how did parents cope in previous generations? I’d die without a screen. Plus more of an expectation to keep your house clean and family fed without takeout. My house is far from clean and we’ve been eating way more takeout than usual  :#

    I got a little turned on today when my husband told me that he went to Costco for the cheap gas. Lol.

    Another FFFC: I’ve been taking lukewarm baths during this pregnancy as a self care and I’m using our precision thermometer to make sure temperature is around 99 degrees. The thermometer is the kind they use on fancy baking shows to measure the temperature of liquid chocolate or caramel.

    @iiirene I ignore all pregnancy eating rules except for foods high in mercury. I mean, the most recent food recalls have been lettuce and peanut butter. It’s not like they’ll tell pregnant people to stay away from leafy greens! 

    Besides, eggs are great for you while pregnant and hard yolks are boring. I say eat up.

    @iiirene I totally forgot that I'm not "supposed" to eat runny eggs while pregnant and have had them a few times already lol. First pregnancy I followed 99% of the rules but I have definitely been more lax this time!
    @etnyah my last pregnancy my midwife told me to be careful with leafy greens, spinach, etc due to them commonly being involved in e coli outbreaks. I was like "right, got it....don't eat salad". I thought I was being funny but she was not amused 🤣

    @nsk489 lollll. Yeah I rinse my spinach that I use for smoothies really well, that’s about it. But I always do. 

    I’m basically just a tantrummy toddler, tell me I can’t eat something and my response is “oh yeah? Watch me”.

    I hate baths. I can never get comfortable, leaning on anything hurts my neck, and sitting there feels like I'm in time out. What am I supposed to do with my hands? There are so many things to do, I'm now just dirty woman soup.

    @nonlinear_function I completely agree with your bath assessment. ONLY way I find it enjoyable is if its a giant whirlpool tub with Jets & lots of bubbles
