Painkillers for tooth pain safe?

So I'm going to see my dentist tomorrow, I was up all night with pain so bad in my tooth that I was literally crying. I tried Tylenol and what the OBGYN said was safe to take and nothing helped. I ended up having to take an 800 mg ibuprofen. I tried to avoid this as I know it isn't safe for baby. Has anyone else taken this and baby been fine?

Definitely follow up with your doctor to let them know that the pain couldn’t be alleviated with Tylenol. They’re the best advisor for medical care.
