Hey everyone! I’m new here. Anyone having trouble sleeping? Mainly waking up in the middle of the night and feeling anxious with palpitations and not being able to go back to sleep? Any thoughts on methods to help to sleep better? I’ve been getting about 5 hours a night and I think the root of my anxiety is I know that it’s not good for the pregnancy :( but it turn into this unhealthy cycle I can’t get out of. Any advice? Anyone in the same situation? Sometimes it helps to know you’re not alone!
This happened to me towards the end of my pregnancy. It was not fun. Besides regular meditation during the day, I would listen to sleep meditation when I woke up in the middle of the night.
I’ve also been having miscarriage nightmares. I’ve tried aromatherapy. Some days a later in the day exercise helps. But mostly when I’m up at night & can’t sleep I take comfort in things that really comfort me. Tea (decaf when I can’t sleep), watching my favorite sport, reading a fun (non pregnancy related) book, etc. Whatever brings you comfort & can help you relax.
