Slow rising hcg levels and no longer have tender breasts

I have had Slow rising hcg levels that havent been doubling in 48 hours but haven't decreased but i no longer have tender breasts. And I feel less bloated. I am 6 weeks pregnant. Does this mean I am having a miscarriage or is there still hope? I am so scared. If I am miscarrying this will be my fourth one with no reasoning. I have had every test done in the past and they just don't know why

Symptoms don’t really tell you anything about the viability of a pregnancy but if your betas are doubling at least every 72 hours there is hope for a successful pregnancy. At 6 weeks HcG should be in the thousands, and when they get to that level the doubling rate slows down. You’re far enough along that a gestational sac, yolk sac, and likely a fetal pole should be visible on an ultrasound. If you’ve had 3 prior losses your doctor should really be offering you an early scan, if they aren’t willing I would advocate to be seen or find a new provider.

  • Those number are pretty low for 6 weeks, were you tracking your ovulation to be sure of your dates? If not, it’s possible you aren’t as far along as you think. If you’re fairly confident you are 6 weeks I would definitely ask for an ultrasound to rule out an ectopic pregnancy, slow/low betas can be an indicator of an ectopic.

Just a reminder sperm are typically viable for up to 5 days so you could have conceived as far out as the 15th if that’s when you ovulated.

I conceived after a CD 7 or 8 (can’t quite remember) indiscretion. We *should* have been safe. 🤷🏻‍♀️
