Trying to Get Pregnant

Intro- Trigger warning:Loss mentioned

Hey everyone,

My husband and I live in North Carolina. We have a Golden doodle and a 13 year old daughter. We enjoy walks, hiking, music, travel and horror movies.

We have been trying for a second since 2014.. I have pcos and I do not ovulate on my own. We have had several medicated cycles and nothing worked. After so much frustration and sadness we stopped trying with intervention in 2017.. and decided to not try not prevent and see what happens.

Well, nothing happened. In late 2021 went to a new dr and decided to try letrozol. It worked first cycle. We were so beyond excited! I was most recently in the July 2022 birth month board. We did all the testing it came back great. It was a boy we named Nolan. We had our anatomy scan and saw some abnormalities and they sent us to a specialist a couple days later and unfortunately got the news that our baby was not well. We were told he wouldn’t have quality of life… We made the most impossible and heart breaking decision to make and we tfmr at 21 weeks. It’s been 5 months and we are wanting to try again.. so now I am here. So grateful for communities like this for support. And sorry for unloading my life story!

  • @francesgs Welcome! We don't usually do one off posts like this, but I think the newbie thread for this week got buried. I'm so sorry for your loss. Definitely jump into our TTCAL thread and the IF thread if that fits where you are in your journey right now.
