Delivery room drama

So my husband and mom are obviously going to be in the delivery room with me, but im torn between my MIL or my close sister.. my sister is a nurse at the hospital im delivering, and I feel like I’d rather have her in there but my MIL has helped me so much during this pregnancy & wants to be in there. My husband said he will be pissed if his mom isn’t in there, & my mom is saying she’ll be upset if my sister isn’t in there….. I don’t know what to do

What is the norm? My sister & mom are saying usually it’s just the females side of the family in there

Personally as close as me and my MIL are I wouldn’t have her in the delivery room. I’m not even having my own mother in there this time (she will have my other 2 kids.) 

You need to think about who will be the bigger support person for you, and not what anyone else thinks !!

Totally agree, it’s all about what will make you most comfortable. I’m only having my husband in, and no one else is entitled IMO (no matter how entitled they feel lol).

I’m surprised your hospital would allow that many people in the delivery room! But I think there’s a reason they call the other person with you a support person - who is actually going to be able to support YOU and who do YOU want to be supported by? Not just wants to see the baby being born. Just my 2 cents.

I'm only allowed one person with me in the delivery room, and it will be my husband. You should choose who will make you the most comfortable. Everyone else will get over it after baby is born and they get to hold him or her.
