2nd Trimester

Bump fluctuation

Ill be 17 weeks on Thursday,  and from what I've read its normal for your bump to change due to the placement of the baby,  etc.  Has anyone been experiencing this? Im not showing much yet so it freaked me out when i felt a shift. No bleeding or any adverse feelings.

Re: Bump fluctuation

  • Sorry, but get used to feeling shifts that is the 1st of many to come! Why would you look for bleeding or adverse feelings?  Baby is growing and moving.

  • It’s normal to check for bleeding or adverse feelings when something changes and you aren’t expecting it. This is the place where people come to ask questions and get support.
  • Because it's my first pregnancy after 8 weeks i miscarried my first pregnancy and don't know anything about being pregnant, only going off what I've been reading.
  • Hi @knottief442290241940840 - try not to stress. Babies move all over the place (like hamsters on a wheel). I didn’t know I had an anterior placenta and feeling some sort of rolling feeling and freaking out. TW I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks years ago so I’m in general very anxious during my pregnancies. Baby was fine, but when baby gets bigger, it’s so cool to see them physically love inside of you! I hope this helps ❤️
  • Thanks, i feel pretty much back to normal now. Just ready for my next ultrasound on the 13th lol
