We have decided on Lincoln for our son (still trying to get use to saying son lol) I fell in alive with it when I had my daughter almost 12 years ago. Thankfully it was DH’s favorite as well
I will be naming my son Raptor. This name triggers my inner demon. And when my inner demon is released, I feel relaxed and free. I really enjoy this sensation of freedom… maybe that is reason I am currently knocked up. So I recommend naming you child something that connects with something deeper inside of you.
We are team green too; for a boy my DH picked out Eli to honor his mom’s side of the family and Eli is a name I like too. For a girl we picked Adaline. When we first heard it years ago, we both fell in love with the name.
We’re having a boy and were kind of locked in based on family tradition. My husband is a “4th” so our son is going to be a “5th”! Sounds ridiculously pompous, but it’s fun to keep it going until it breaks! The trick now is coming up with a great nickname. My husband’s nickname is Mac and we may go with Mick or Mickey for our son…TBD!!
We didn't find out sex with the first pregnancy and had Adeline and Arthur picked out. I am biased of course, but Arthur suits my son perfectly. DH got to choose this time and wanted to know sex in advance. Baby boy #2 so pressure is on to find a good fit. We have a few names we're agreeing on and luckily quite a few months to narrow it down.
Names are always so hard for us. This is baby number 4 but our first girl. I have at least 5 names I love but husband doesn’t love any name. He just likes some. Infuriating man! He will probably just let me pick in the end since he picked out our youngest sons name.
We just found out we're having a girl and her name will be Theodora Nicolette, Theo for short. We struggled a lot with boy names so I'm thankful baby is a girl!
Having a boy thought we were set on the name but it just feels way to long and not smooth flowing love the middle name which will be Alexander but trying to find a short but unique first name that flows glad to still have time to figure it out
I picked out our first girl’s name, Claire. We had the perfect boys name picked out for our second but we are having another girl. DH loves the name Audrey for our second but I’m not sold and don’t like how it sounds with our last name. I have time to change his mind. Just need to come up with some good alternatives!
I have 3 girls and waiting to find out what numero quatro will be! My lil ones names are Luella, Marla, & Viola. We want to stick with the “la” ending for a girl and an “a” end for a boy. I love the name Vega for a boy and Stella for a girl. Both are stars but I can’t know if I’m set! feel free to share your ideas!
picking a name was hard for me being a teacher. But we are going to name our little girl Amelia Dorothy-Ann. Her middle names come from my grandmothers’ names.
Re: The Great Name Thread
but at the moment we’re set on Scout for a girl
or Jones for a boy.
