HCG Line Progression

Hi guys, I'm currently about 5w3d and been doing hcg strip tests.
But progression hasnt been very good and I'm wondering if you guys can share your thoughts and experiences??

As long as they are positive and you don’t have other symptoms of miscarriage the line coloring doesn’t matter.

What brand are you using? Being someone who has had 3 healthy pregnancies and 4 losses (14 weeks, 10 weeks, 5 weeks and 7 weeks) all without any other symptoms of miscarriage, line progression was always the thing that tipped me off. If your lines are getting lighter instead of darker then it's unfortunately likely a chemical. If you're using strips like Wondfo and you see a slight progression then you're likely ok as the strips aren't great at tracking progression. If your lines aren't progressing, just staying light, or getting lighter and then darker, this could be a sign of ectopic. If you're using FRER or can get your hands on one these are much better at showing progrssion and it's much easier to tell if tests are getting darker or lighter. I'm so sorry you are going through this. Honest the best thing to do would be to call your doctor and ask for a rec for repeat betas. At this stage they will be a much better indicator of what is going on ❤
