Bv question! Please help ! Any info is helpful!

I'm 9 weeks pregnant. I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis, my ob prescribed flagyl (the pills) . I've read so many scary things about taking flagyl in the first trimester. Should I wait ? I'm just scared . Anybody else been diagnosed with bv, if so what happened ?

Isn’t it a category B drug? I would discuss your concerns with your doc, y’all can weigh the risks between taking it or continuing to have BV. I got diagnosed with it when I was postpartum. The antibiotics were fine and had no issues. I think I had a 7 day course?
