Upcoming Appointments or Results: fetal anatomy scan and OB appt in 2 days

How are you feeling?: I'm overall feeling good. Still some low energy that seems to be weirdly random. Last night I had terrible heartburn that made me cough really hard, which then made the heartburn worse. Tagamet and tums eventually got it under control but I slept on a throne of pillows last night to keep the acid down.

Rants/Raves: Baby loves to kick and move when I least expect it. My DW has started rubbing me down every night with cream to prevent stretch marks which makes me feel like a lounging queen. The squishing of all the innards is something else though. I'm short waisted anyway so there's already not much space at 20 weeks.

How are you feeling?: mostly pretty good aside from some back and tail bone pain

Rants/Raves: raves: I’m positive I’m feeling kicks at this point. My partner was even able to feel one of the bigger kicks

Questions: has anyone else had issues with tail bone pain? I’ve been having it on and off for a while

  • @mamamo777 I am part of the group from week 8-13th but I have had some tailbone pain. I sit all day at work and have started noticing tailbone pain when I go to stand up or sit down. I look like an old lady when I go to get out of this chair. I am looking into a donut seat because it is so uncomfortable 🥴

How are you feeling?: Significantly better. Kidney stones and kidney infection seem to be behind me. I've gotten my heartburn under control. I've noticed a bit of joint pain in my hip when I do a lot of walking but it's manageable.

Rants/Raves: Rant - I have no appetite lately. It's been difficult to find things I want to eat.
Rave - DH has been gone on a work trip for a few days and comes home today!

    How did it go???
  • @manamo777 yes!  Such bad back/tailbone/sacrum  pain!  I had it start right away my last pregnancy and got this little round air pillow which helped but I didn’t do enough to help the pain.  By the end of my pregnancy it hurt so bad to walk even a block. Is also got a heat pad to sit in and my seat warmers were my favorite thing.  I also had a brilliant idea not to get an epidural for delivery  but the back pain was so bad I ended up wanting it but things moved fast and it was too late.
My lower back pain is back again so I have an appointment with a pelvic specialist physical therapist.  I asked my midwife about it and she first said I could get a referral to a chiropractor but I feel like they’d be too rough and I’d like to know the actual problem so she referred me to the PT.  Since it’s an evaluation appointment it’s extra long and I’ve had to wait 6 weeks for the appointment.  So if you can I’d ask your OB/midwife right away at your next appointment or through their online portal to get a pt referral.
