    ๐—›๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด?: Uncomfortable. I easily over do it on weekends when Iโ€™m trying to get things done or my husband works and I need to handle my two kids. I still try to get things done, but bending and picking up toys is not easy so the house just stays a mess. With having three in my belly I feel like I have the third trimester aches and pains and discomforts and I just skipped the second trimester energy that I had with my other pregnancies.

    ๐—ฅ๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒs/rants: Rave: my 2 year old decided on her own that she wanted to start using the potty. We havenโ€™t been pushing potty training at all besides having the potty as an option and she now goes a few times a day either at daycare or at home.
    Rant: I feel like this is the opposite of what singleton pregnancies where people donโ€™t want to be told they look like they are carrying twins. I on the other hand have gotten emotional when people say I donโ€™t look like Iโ€™m carrying triplets. Although they mean it as a compliment, I feel like it takes away from how uncomfortable I am. I also just think that if I donโ€™t look like Iโ€™m carrying triplets that it means these three babies are just moving organs out of the way to fit.

    ๐—š๐—ง๐—ž๐—ฌ: How are you staying comfortable at night right now? I wish I was. I do the best with my pregnancy pillow and other pillows. Restless leg syndrome has really been getting me recently. Iโ€™m also trying to rest my belly on the bed more which relieves stress on my hips too, but Iโ€™m considering looking into a wedge pillow for under my belly.

  • I love my pregnancy wedge. I bought the bopppy one with my first (it was also the only one out there then) and I'm using it this time too! It makes a huge difference for me.ย 
  • @krysnicole1022 I never considered getting one in any of my previous pregnancies. Itโ€™s good to hear otherโ€™s experiences. It may push me to just get one because I tend to procrastinate on things that are just for me and my own comfort.

    ๐—ฅ๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒs/rants:ย Rant - Work is killing me, I am so swamped and I feel like I'm drowning in deadlines.ย Also I'm having some family health issues (older family members with medical emergencies) which has made my days very long recently.ย  This too shall pass so I'm told.
    Rave - A good friend made a short visit this weekend and it was so nice to see her and have some respite in the midst of some chaos.

I have just started having trouble with this.ย  I have a smaller pregnancy pillow that just goes between my legs and supports my belly.ย  It works relatively well, but my sciatica has been keeping me up the past few nights.ย  I am starting to go to the prenatal chiropractor and I am hoping they can help with this.ย ย

Instead of a lovely 2 1/2 hour nap, yesterday he took a 20 minute car snooze, and took over an hour to get to bed last night. I hope this doesnโ€™t last long because it will drive me insane

  • @sandy5693 Iโ€™m pretty sure we did the prenatal classes for our first mid 2nd trimester. I think it was helpful for me to get the information early then I could ask follow up questions with my provider. It also helped me to know what my facility provided specifically and could tour the rooms/area. Of course this was pre-pandemic so I donโ€™t know how things have changed.ย

We live 2 blocks away from a city square with some nice shaded picnic tables and a great hotdog stand. Rant: Struggling with my aging mother making some really poor decisions and being very stubborn and defensive about it. It's exhausting and we're having some major concerns for her safety.

    @sandy5693 Ours were canceled with DS because of first wave covid, but I think we were registered to start around 30/32 weeks. I want to do a labour support refresher course and a proper infant CPR and first aid course this time and will likely book those for late summer, early September.ย

Next Friday, I have my first scheduled Brazilian wax since pre-pandemic since I am OFFICIALLY unable to do it myself.

    ๐—›๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด?: Increasingly pregnant, lol. My lower back has been bothering me so I've tried to figure out a good way to ease the discomfort, pretty sure it is a "relaxin hormone + sleeping as stretched out as I can" issue. A friend gave me a body pillow - too big, got in the way and made me all frustrated BUT helped tremendously and improved my sleep. It set me on the right track. I am tired. June is so freaking active and I can't imagine 15 more weeks of unexpected kicking/punching/head butting. At least it's not uncomfortable or painful, but it is making me really tired. I'm feeling pretty big (although I know I'm relatively small) and my rain coat barely zips. Thankfully, I have a cute poncho arriving today so that problem will be resolved.
    Right now, I am feeling like I want to nap all afternoon because I won't have students... but I have a student painting my classroom podium and she's in here all day. LOL. Way to go, me!

    Rant:ย I am really trying to be thankful for how active June is, but I amย tired. I know I should really be thankful. I don't want her to stop being active. I enjoy telling my husband how active she is. I am just so damn tired and between relative insomnia (thanks, pregnancy) and June going on activity sprees, sleep feels more elusive than it has ever been before. Unless I have had health issues (I had severe gastritis in the latter half of my teens), I have never had a hard time sleeping. I have always been able to go right back to sleep. Nope. Not now.ย 

    Rave: Since a knee pillow isn't enough (I move/stretch out/need my full leg supported but ONLY my leg) and the body pillow didn't work, Hubbs suggested I order a king-size pillow from Amazon. I ended up choosing this oneย  specifically because it comes with a buddy and you can transfer stuffing from one to the other. It arrived yesterday. Prior experience with shredded-memory-foam pillows meant I didn't expect it to fluff up as much as it did, so I ended up transferringย way too much stuffing and it was both heavy and too tall last night. I am pretty excited for sleeping with it tonight now that I know how it behaves, and it is the perfect size for just supporting my legs and the bottom of my belly if I would like.ย 
    The student who is painting my podium is finishing up and it looks GREAT. She is painting Chihiro fromย Spirited Away surrounded by flowers. If I had a house, I might hire her to paint a nursery mural <3

    ๐—š๐—ง๐—ž๐—ฌ: How are you staying comfortable at night right now? DAT PILLOW, MAN. Also, I sleep with an IKEA shark. Don't judge. He's far better shaped than a regular pillow and, apparently, the fin is awesome for wedging under my growing bump. OMD (oh my dog)! I could totally re-stuff him with leftover pillow memory-foam shreds.
