My 3 month old Won't Let Me Suction His Nose

My 3 month old son, has been mucusy and congested the last couple of days. It sound like it's in his nose and in his throat. And now it's affecting his sleep. Every time he inhales, it sounds like he can barely do it, because of the mucus that's all clogged up in there. He won't let me suction his nose though 😩 I was able to suck out a little bit, but not enough to make a difference, before he started screaming at the top of his lungs and crying so hard, that I cried with him. Is there any medicine I can give him? A different method I can try, to clear his passages? I can't even sleep, because I need to hear him breathing 😔
