Well I tried to make grilled cheese and pickle sandwich (suggested by @tryingktogku in another thread). I wasn't paying close enough attention and I scorched it 😭. I didn't have enough ingredients to make another one, so I had to eat it anyway.
I’ve been in such a taco mood lately. I’ve requested it 3 times in the last five days. Also, I’ve been loving the peaches in season! So far June is off to a good start for me. 🌮🍑
I’ve just been eating way too many carbs and way too much and honestly it’s like a mix of feeling bad because I’m nauseated and then feeling and because I’m eating not the greatest. So today I’m going to start making a conscious effort to actually portion control and also choose more variety again!
I just want all the carbs. Also Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I almost always get some kind of cereal craving during pregnancy. Fruity Pebbles with my first and Cinnamon Toast Crunch with my rainbow baby.
@bwow615 Maybe! My first was a boy, followed by the daughter we lost, then my rainbow daughter....maybe it means another girl since I want the same cereal
Yesterday I developed an intense craving for panir masala and ordered a ton of Indian food so I’ve had that for dinner last night and lunch today so far.
I feel like I have been eating nothing but carbs and sugar. I am loving chocolate chip cookies lately more than normal. I am also craving grilled cheese and tomato soup a lot. I have noticed that even though I am not having a ton of morning sickness, I do have quite a few food aversions too which is new for me. I'm going to try to eat more natural sugars like fruit instead of all the baked goods.
I’m eating crepes with chocolate hummus and bananas/strawberries for late night snack. If you haven’t tried chocolate hummus it’s amazing as it uses chickpeas and dates and a bit of coco powder so it’s got lots of good protein crepes I buy at Costco and heat up in the microwave.
Let's see... started with oranges and bananas; cereal(ctc, golden Graham's, honey smacks). yesterday I made an giant plate of steamed broccoli with shredded Colby jack and lemon pepper‐it was amazing. I've found that I am DESPERATE for all things sour, and lemonade helps my constant nausea. Now that you mention it, a grilled cheese sounds amazing right now.
I want pork burritos with lettuce, sour cream, cheese and cucumber. I want pickles and popcorn. I want salt. The cravings are so strong haha! Peekaboo pro test said I am having a boy. With my girl I craved ALL the sweet things!
This pregnancy has turned me into a carnivore. I only want meat and eggs all day every day! Guess we don’t have to worry about getting in that iron and choline…😂
@footdrbritt I am also historically not very good at drinking plenty of water. I vary it with flavored sparkling waters. I love the triple citrus sparkling ice + caffeine. It’s less caffeine than tea and tricks me into thinking it’s a sprite like soda.
@tmoreno93 last time, I couldn't eat onions or tolerate the smell of garlic. One day my husband made garlic bread, and I had to leave the house until he finished eating it. So gross.
I've mostly been craving salt and protein with this pregnancy. Once again this time around, sugar makes me nausaus and gives me heartburn, so I've been avoiding sugar and switched to keto for sweets, as I seem to be able to tolerate that. So I've eaten a lot of keto cupcakes this week lol
@42lemons Meanwhile if it has garlic in it, I’ve probably eaten it this week. Homemade Taziki sauce with crushed garlic, lemon orzo with garlic and tomatoes, more Indian curry with lots of garlic naan. I told DH I’m sorry but I’m apparently going to be sweating garlic all summer.

I found a healthy-ish recipe for cheesecake brownies and whipped those up today. The house smells amazing and the batch came out SO WELL! I feel like we’ll need a cravings recipe thread on here at some point… 🥰
I crave things, buy the things, then quickly do not want the things. Ugh lol but cereal is the one consistent thing I want throughout this pregnancy. Had the same with my last (baby boy).
I’m also been craving jimmy johns, the Thai chicken wrap has been pretty amazing. Also birria tacos and nachos. And shredded hash browns with melted cheese on top. Basically everything! Also surprisingly haven’t gained anything this pregnancy.
I have a strong aversion to meat coming into my 9th week. I don’t want to cook it or eat it so had to buy a lot of frozen food for H. Watermellon and lemonade have been my saviour this week along with bagels and cream cheese. Will catch up on protein by drinking some breakfast smoothies if I can get them down.
Eggs & toast, Smoothies (with added protein powder), and all the carbs! I usually love sweets but have zero desire for them lately. I usually drink lots of water but find it hard to drink with the nausea! Anyone else?
@el_3 I agree about water; I’m usually a good water drinker but this pregnancy I hate it. I’m constantly parched though so I’ve been trying to chug seltzer or other no -sugary beverages just to stay hydrated, but it’s all off-putting after the first two sips.
I’ve also had a nightly hot chocolate ritual for years. I make it from scratch and it’s my way of unwinding. Now? Now it makes me want to barf. Nope nope nope.
I am craving sweets so much! Chewy chocolate chip cookies are #1. I am going to try harder to switch to fruit because I've read the empty calories aren't so good for baby... Sigh!

Also, junk food. My most recent impulse purchases were Lucky Charms, Pop Tarts, and those Pilsbury Cinnamon Rolls.
Give me all the carbs, BLT’s and burgers though 😂😂
