No yolk sac? But we saw a BABY AND A HEARTBEAT...

I just went for my confirmation ultrasound yesterday.. We saw a baby measuring on track (6w1d) and saw the fluttering heartbeat.. but there was no yolk sac...????? I am so confused as to how the baby can have a heartbeat and no yolk sac.. I am hoping its just hiding on me and it will appear at my rescan next week, but I am so curious if this has happened to anyone else before..
