Baby Gender Scan

Ladies still don’t know the gender of our baby. Took ages to get a decent photo as the baby was being difficult to get a clear picture. What do you mummies think?

@sydneyjess this is a good post to share in the Ultrasound thread or even I’m Just Here for the SEX. One-off posts that aren’t created to facilitate larger group discussion end up cluttering the board, particularly when there are other threads that are on topic. As for your scan, what did the tech say? They put an arrow there so they must have seen something. Wild guess is that blurry bump indicates boy.

General rule is that girls have three lines and boys have a bulge. I've seen both on my own ultrasounds and it's usually pretty easy to tell unless there was something in the way.

technician couldn’t tell wait her because of the way baby was position. First the umbilical cord was in the way, then a hand, then a foot. So she couldn’t tell. Midwife will give another look on Tuesday.

@sydneyjess If they can't tell, I would say you'd need another scan to be able to tell. We won't be able to contribute anything but conjecture, and conjecture is not going to be helpful.
