I took a test today and when urine went across the window it was uneven (if that makes any sense)... pink dye ran so I'm so unsure what this means...

Were you holding it correctly? I believe you’re supposed to keep them horizontal or pointed down, so assuming you did that, I’d trust the result. It’s possible it’s faulty though, and you could always try another

So, if you peed on the result window and oink dye ran, I would say it's an invalid test. Retest.  Follow directions carefully.
