Clearblue ovulation test help

Hi all, was previously using FR ovulation kit, would usually get the 😃 on day 15 or 16. I changed to clear blue this month, showed circle only on day 8, then peak on day 9 (solid smiley) tested again day 11, 13,16 and 18 continuing to show peak, testing again to track and got high or flashing smiley on day 21. This doesn't seem accurate. Seeking advice on reliability of the clear blue tests. Also note previous cycles on clomid, didn't take this month, unsure if this affecting results.
