PMS-like cramps and Backache

Me again... As a FTM, everything is making me stress 😩

So, I'm almost 7 weeks (Friday) and have not been having a great week...

Over and above my hcg no longer doubling (doubled in 7 days, from 14k to 30k) and measuring a few days behind, today I have moderatel painful PMS like pain (unlike the mild cramping I've had to date) and also really bad lower and mid back pain. On a positive note,  I haven't had any spotting or bleeding to date

I have a scan tomorrow afternoon and don't know whether to hold onto hope or to expect/accept the worst.

Why does this have to be so hard? This is our first pregnancy since our ectopic in 2018...

Sorry for the paranoid pity party...

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Did you call your doctor regarding your worsening symptoms? Maybe they could get you in earlier. Sending you love ❤️

I have 2 babies and with both of them I had the constant lower back ache and cramps feeling for the entire first trimester.  I never had my hcg numbers taken but both of my girls measured a week behind what my EDD based on LMP should have been. Try not to freak out! Hope things go well!

HCG stops doubling as you get into the 1000s so I wouldn't put too much weight on the numbers. It's normal to measure a few days off from your gestational age because baby is so small at this point. Even being slightly off in measurement can make it look like you're a few days off.
