Happy mother's day all, I hope you had a lovely day yesterday. I for one got enough rest to finally feel like I can contribute here again!

    Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 11.16 (rcs 11.11) / 12+5

    FTM/STM/TTM+: #4

Upcoming Appointments or Results: today! Excited to hear/see little baby again, I'll post this afternoon if anything is unusual.

How are you feeling?: A little nervous about the genetic screening blood draw, as always. Finally maybe on the other side of the worst of the nausea/morning sickness, though still fairly low appetite.

Rants/Raves: Rant: I badly skinned both knees Friday. Raves: I had a lovely derby/mother's day weekend where DH was mostly helpful and accommodating. Rant: DH and I had a big emotional fight last Monday(?). Rave: We're both getting better about constructively resolving donestic tension. Rave: I'm excited about our plan to bring DD (~5, the oldest) to my 20wk anatomy scan so she can be the first to find out sex. She's got her heart set on finally getting a sister (brothers are 3+ & 1.5), and I'm hoping this might help with any gender disappointment if it's another boy.

Questions: no, but I'll happily take opinions on our front runner names! Girl: Marigold or Rosemary or Magnolia, middle Ruth. Boy: Isaac, middle Vincent or Andrew. For ref, our last name is Lough (low), and DD is Juniper Harriet, boys are (James) Arthur and Oscar Wilman (my maiden).

Re: your names. I love Marigold, but honestly I very much like all flower names. Ruth is my middle name, so I'm biased.
For your boys I'm partial to Andrew.
  • @sejica good luck at the appointment today!

    Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 11/18, 12w3d

    FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM

Upcoming Appointments or Results: NT ultrasound and NIPT draw tomorrow!

How are you feeling?: mostly okay. My nausea has flipped from mornings to evenings for the most part and isn't super terrible so that's good. A bit anxious as always ahead of my appointment tomorrow, especially since I've been having on and off pain that I assume is round ligament pain based on the location and type of pain, but of course anything sets off the anxiety.

Rants/Raves: I'm happy because it's finals week, so my schedule is finally lightening up a bit. Yay sleep! (except for two mad early tests later in the week but whatever)

Questions: can't really think of anything super pressing at the moment.

  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 11/17. 12+5.

Upcoming Appointments or Results: next appointment with the OB is first week of June. We’re going 5/21 for a boutique ultrasound to tell our kids. I had NIPT drawn 5/6, I’m curious to see which will come back first. I’m a lot less anxious to know the sex of this than I was my first two. I keep having this thought that we got two healthy kids and we’re playing the odds, so I’m really anxious to know this one is ok.

How are you feeling?: Good! Besides now mostly round ligament pain and fatigue, I feel pretty normal.

Rants/Raves: half the upcoming appointment could probably be a rant/rave but too lazy to move it lol

    Questions:
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 12W 1D

    FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM

Upcoming Appointments or Results: Next appointment is 5/23 but I am ANXIOUSLY waiting for my NIPT results from 4/27.

How are you feeling?: I have mostly good days, with occasional nausea in the morning with sometimes throwing up. For the first time ever today I was at work and felt super dizzy and started sweating. I ate some fruit and that seemed to help, and I realized I hadn’t eaten anything since 6:30am and at that point it was 11:30am.

Rants/Raves: Rant - anxiously awaiting these NIPT results hoping babies are healthy! My blood was drawn on 4/27 but wasn’t received until 5/3. Has anyone had a test go to the 2 week mark? Rave - starting to get my energy back and telling more people!

    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM

Upcoming Appointments or Results: NT ultrasound tomorrow, follow up next week

How are you feeling?: almost all morning sickness gone- tired, a little heartburn- had to switch to a few maternity stuff

Rants/Raves: the desire to have no morning sickness- but when it’s gone wishing you had it to reassure you that you are still pregnant

    almost to 2nd trimester!!!!!
  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 11/16 - 13wks +2

    FTM/STM/TTM+: #3

Upcoming Appointments or Results: 14 week appointment on Wednesday 5/18

How are you feeling?: starting to have more energy and the nausea is finally disappearing. I’m definitely anxious for this appointment to just get a heart beat. I feel the toughest part of the end of first/ start of second trimester is that your symptoms start to go away so I start to question of the baby is okay.

Rants/Raves: rants - DH is still clueless on the amount of help he actually provides and his constant use of his cell phone.  I mean put the damn thing down!!! Raves - summer is coming and we have a great annual vacation to the beach that I am probably way too excited for!!!

Questions: has anyone found relief for spider vein pain? If so, what helped?  Also any cute maternity summer dresses or skirts that anyone has found?

@fantasyflyte how was your appointment? Did they agree about round ligament pain, or suggest some other cause?

@Gingermom15 do your kids want a brother or sister?

@goldenmom00 my 3 nipts have come between 10 and 19 calendar days, so even past 2 weeks isn't outside the typical window.  They told me 14 business days, so depending where weekends/holidays fell, that could be 20 calendar days. But, it doesn't hurt to call your Dr and check if they know of a reason for the delay.

@lilswed how was your nt ultrasound? Do you have to wait til next week for any info?

@monkey126 oooh, where are you headed? We fly to Tampa 5/27 and I may have already started packing lol . As for maternity wear, I live in my latched Mama 'mompers' all summer. They're great for chasing other kiddos while looking cute and don't have a waistband, so win win.

  • @sejica the MFM specialist didn't mention anything when I mentioned it, just nodded. My bigger concern that day was the terrible migraine I had (which is still not 100% gone so that was fun during finals). But we saw Bean and they were literally jumping around in there, it was so cool! They were only able to get 1 of the 3 nuchal measurements they wanted, but the 1 they got was completely normal and the doctor wasn't concerned because we were getting the NIPT drawn right after anyway. Now I'm in the longest stretch between ultrasounds I've had because they've happened to be every 2 weeks between the RE, my first OB appointment, and the NT lol. But my anatomy scan is going to be at 18.5 weeks (have to work around the MFM specialist's schedule) so just 5.5 weeks to go!

@fantasyflyte sorry to hear about the migraine, glad everything looks okay. It sounds like we'll get our blood draws back around the same time, I hope we all get good news.

  • @sejica my daughter has been telling me her baby sister is coming soon, she doesn’t know I’m pregnant but I’m guessing she’s wanting a sister lol my son doesn’t seem to care about another sibling but he’d probably want a brother

    @sejica

the ultrasound itself went fine- baby was moving like crazy, but there was a miscommunication between the lab and my doctor when I went for the blood draw- the order never got placed. My dr is out for the weekend and I’m trying to get the clinic to just send in the paperwork for the blood draw within 48-72 hours…

anyone else have a screw up like that happen? Trying to decide if we just let it go or bite the bullet and pay for a second ultrasound.

My dr did not explain the timing thing to me- it was the ultrasound tech. Is that common knowledge just out there?
