Hello,
I'd like to ask about using Ganirelix in combination with BCPs prior to the FET to prevent breakthrough ovulation.

In my last successful FET I ovulated after BC (vaginal ring) and due to this my FET schedule was delayed (doctor said I "broke through" the BC ring).

Is there an effective way to prevent breakthrough ovulations like this, by adding Ganirelix to the mix of meds taken prior to FET for example?

My IVF coordinator said Ganirelix is usually taken in stimulation cycles, and it is too late to add other meds like Lupron to ensure I don't ovulate prior to FET.

I'm on day 3 of my period and am about to start taking BC pills.

Please advise !
