Upcoming Appointments or Results: Nothing this week; I have an appointment with a genetic counselor next week to go over all that testing.

How are you feeling?: Ready for the second trimester. My B6/Unisom are helping with nausea somewhat, but it is still there.

Rants/Raves: We just lost out on our bid for a house - it went for MORE than $50K over asking. Why are we even bothering.

Upcoming Appointments or Results: NT scan on Thursday. With a little bit of luck we'll find out the gender then too!

How are you feeling?: Emotional - I'm crying over pretty much anything right now. And tired. So very tired so much of the time. I also keep randomly gagging. Still only vomited the once, but man I've gotten close a few times.

Rants/Raves: I can't wait to get our compost so I can start planting my garden!!!

How are you feeling?: so freaking shitty. I’m so sick of feeling awful 24/7. The unisom/b6 keeps the crazy nausea away for the first half of the day so I’m able to eat and keep it down. The second half of the day is pretty miserable. This is not my favorite pregnancy so far.

Looking forward to feeling baby start moving. Im hoping I can feel something soon with this being my fourth.

I agree on the housing market being crazy. We wanted to look at houses at the beginning of Covid because we're 100% not buying sight unseen. Nobody would show us any. By the time people were willing again, out of provincers decided to move here en masse and bring the prices up like 50%, out of where we could afford it.
That being said, there was a big exodus of people from here in the 70s and 80s because of lack of jobs and the government being generally pretty piss poor, and not a whole lot has changed so I expect people will start moving away again as soon as they start to realize that cheap housing was pretty much the only thing we had going for us.

@PurplePumpernickel The housing market is insane. My in-laws are trying to buy a house right now and they keep getting out-bid. They're about ready to give up. One of the houses they looked at went for $70K over asking with a guarantee to pay the difference in cash since no appraiser is ever going to value it that high.

Upcoming Appointments or Results: had an ultrasound today and it went great! Baby is growing and looking perfect. We did a gender reveal with my family and we are having a girl! So thrilled.

How are you feeling?: feeling much better! Bloated and tired but definitely feels like I have turned a corner

Rants/Raves: none of my pants fit anymore! I think it’s mostly just bloating. 

Questions: has anyone invested in a pregnancy pillow yet? Thinking about getting one.

How are you feeling?: still nauseas; headaches; and constipated from all the iron

Rants/Raves: 

Questions: anyone else struggling with “not feeling pregnant?” It’s so hard to believe the baby is still there after not having an ultrasound since 8 weeks. Get to hear heartbeat this Thursday and hope that reassures me.

@erey339 did you find out gender through blood test?! So exciting! My gut is telling me I’m having a girl. But I don’t know!

@erey339 I have a snoogle and used it with all three of my other pregnancy’s. I haven’t went looking for where we stored it yet but I will be finding it soon. I definitely recommend getting something

Had my doctors appointment today and got to hear the heartbeat. Baby was kicking the doppler and moving a ton. I also got zofran to take as needed. I’m really hoping to start feeling better asap
