HCG Level Concerns & Blood Tests?

Hi everyone,
First time pregnancy here at 4w5d and feeling anxious that my test lines aren’t dark enough. I’ve been testing with HCG strips each morning for several days and while they’re definitely a *little* darker, they’re still somewhat faint.
I’ve seen several people post their HCG levels using actual numbers. Are y’all getting regular blood tests to get your levels? I asked for a blood test when I called to schedule my first OB scan, but they said they can’t order one since I’m not yet under their care. They also assured me that if the urine tests are positive, a blood test isn’t necessary. Should I be concerned if my test line isn’t darker by now? I’m pretty positive I’m at 18DPO today.
