Retinyl Palmitate

Almost 5 weeks pregnant and realized that it cc cream I’ve been using contains retinyl palmitate. Has anyone come across this and can talk me off the ledge? Thanks!

I heard Mama Doctor Jones say something about this on one of her YouTube videos, but found another source (below) that specifically says don’t panic! Studies with negative effects have primarily been done with oral retinol supplements. There is less evidence for topically applied retinols causing problems, but avoiding them is advised to be safe.
