Litter box

My boyfriend has three cats and has two litter boxes down stairs. I don’t use that bathroom but it smells and he doesn’t clean it regularly at times. Feeling super anxious about how it’s harmful to pregnant women. 

Is anyone else dealing with litter boxes?

@kayycee88 As long as you don’t scoop it, you should be fine! We have two cats and therefore, we have two cat liter boxes that are in my office. I have just removed myself from cat box duty (leaving that job to my husband and daughter) and going about business as usual.

 If you’re still concerned about it though, I’d just ask bf to be more consistent in cleaning it out.

Like bananapancakes said, it's the cleaning and possible accidental touching of it that's dangerous. Though I know it can be gross too. Luckily as long as the cats are fully vaccinated the chances of them having toxoplasmosis are extremely low
