MH started his new job Friday, no longer in charge of his schedule or WFH. and i have now told him twice, hey should should pack your lunch and do some of the stuff at night so you have less to worry about in the morning... do you think he has listened? nope. he also has a cold and is so whiny and grouchy in the morning and i'm like just I TOLD YOU SO! can't wait to confess to my therapist tomorrow how i'm not being terribly empathetic, oops.

WTF with all the people coming to the ER for tummy pain.  Some of its legit but a lot of it is just people with a tummy bug. Bad Social Worker, right here.

My sister is having my nephew's birthday party on my actual birthday.  Our birthdays are a week apart. I asked her when it was and she told me and I was like "Oh!  That's my birthday." and she replied "Oh, I didn't even notice."  I am an adult.  I don't care, truly.  What annoys me is that she didn't tell me then pretended she didn't realize.  We are very close and there is absolutely no way possible she didn't realize.  If it were the other way around I would have called her and said something like, "hey, heads up, I have to do my kid's birthday party on your birthday.  Just wanted to let you know."  The way she went about it just annoys me. WTF.  END RANT.

@bearmomma1 right?!  She had to.  And the fact that she didn't talk to me about it like an adult and instead waited for ME to ask when it was to then pretend she didn't notice annoys me. If she just came to me and told me she had to do it that day I would have thought nothing of it and said okay.  I love my sister, but she is a very "all about herself" person if you know what I mean.

@ReadyForaB Oh thats BS. My exSIL did that to me with my exMIL (me and exMIL share a bday) and they always blatantly forgot it was mine too, also exDH "forgot" once too.  Anyway, such BS from your sister. Sorry


Why, whenever we go away for a long weekend or vacation and its FW, SO has a head cold. Like I think I'm attractive but its like pulling teeth to get him to have sex with me. UGH

@ReadyForaB OHHH that shit grinds my gears. The shock value from your sister - she definitely knew it was your birthday and she definitely did not care. If I did that to my sisters and invited them, you'd best believe I'd be making it a joint celebration or involving them somehow. That is so not okay.

This happened to me with my SIL and her wedding. I was like meh - you probably didn't look on the calendar and think about my birthday when you scheduled this date, it's fine. But she made a point to tell our family that she wanted absolutely ZERO mention or celebration of my birthday on her wedding day because she didn't want me to steal her thunder. It was the worst birthday of my life thus far, but that's a whole other story.

My cousin got married on her dad's birthday... They had a cake for him and made the whole reception sing happy birthday. 

At least don't be dicks about it. Tell the damn truth people

@mambo5-2  If I were to ever do that to her I would probably have a separate cake for her and everything. But I highly doubt that’s how it going to go haha. I don’t even care about that though. I care about how she went about it. My husband told me he doesn’t even know why I’m surprised. She’s often pulling extremely selfish stuff the way it is. 🙄
